STENCIL FUN – SOLAR STYLE

Description:

This class will create backgrounds using the Geo Circles Layering Stencil ( which you get to keep after class).   The techniques will incorporate the use of Solar Paste and the new Solar Spray. We will also be watercoloring using the Solar Spray as the “Water”.  Each student will receive a Solar Paste and Solar Spray to use in class and  take to utilize at home as well.

Ink pads for backgrounds - Instructor used Purple (Simon Hurley Crown Me), Teal (Simon Hurley Remember Me), Green Metallic (Lisa Horton Verdigris), Gold and green metallic ink pads for stamping - instructor used Lisa Horton Verdigris and Solid Gold.,black ink pad for stamping, Ink pads for watercoloring - instructor used Distress Inks in Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness, Alcohol Markers for coloring - Donna used Altenew Alcohol Markers: G503, G446, G515, G425 - Green Valley (Greens), Y106, Y316 - Pocketful of Sunshine (Yellows), C009, R105, R107 - Tea Party (Coral/Red), R601, R603, R614, R437 - Rose Petal (Pinks), G825 - Tropical Forest (Green), Stamping platform, Medium acrylic block for background stamping, stamp cleaner, foam tape, scissors, liquid glue and/or tape runner, paper trimmer, grip mat or low tack tape, ruler, #3 paint brush (or similar size - small to medium), spray bottle of water, microfiber cloth or similar for cleaning stencils, craft mat, spatula and spreader(Donna used Simon Hurley kit), blending brushes.
